In support of the Air Ambulance Service and the amazing work that they do, our team at Pure Staff alongside many of our friends across various other businesses have today held a charity football tournament with all the proceeds going in support of this fantastic cause.
We are proud to announce that we have raised a grand total of over £2000 with 14 teams making it on the day making for an intense tournament taking place across three groups (really giving FIFA a run for their money!). Of these three groups, two were comprised of 5 teams with the top 3 progressing, as well as the top 2 from the final group of 4.
Our Pure Staff squad showed that they were truly the team to beat cruising through the group stages and claiming scintillating victories across the quarters and semis, all the while playing enticing football reminiscent of prime Manchester United and giving the audience plenty to cheer about. After our victory over Source Co in the semi-finals, we were to face the other semi-final winners Nuttals in a highly anticipated final that was bound to deliver pulse-raising excitement. Our team at Pure Staff certainly didn’t let the audience down and delivered a truly end-to-end final. With the match coming to a close, our team at Pure Staff sealed their final victory of the day, claiming an outstanding tournament win and victor’s bragging rights.
Our director at Pure Staff, David Whitehouse sealed off the eventful day by praising the efforts of all involved: “I would like to thank everyone who supported the event and helped me support the Air Ambulance Service and whilst it is weird to have to stand on the side-lines these days, I had great fun watching everyone get stuck in throughout a very competitive event”
From everyone at Pure Staff, we would like to say a massive thank you to all those involved in the event as well as those aiding in the fundraising, the money collected will help to ensure that the Air Ambulance Service can go on delivering life-saving care to those that need it most.
