Number of years in recruitment: 12 and a half years, 9 years with Pure Staff and 3 and a half years working in the Apprenticeship side of recruitment.
What’s the best job you’ve ever had (before Pure Staff of course): I worked for a supermarket chain of Petrol stations from a school leaver until I went into Admin about 10 years later. Starting from a 16-year-old shelf-stacker because I wasn’t old enough to work the tills working up to the management level. Never two days the same and it’s a job I really loved.
What do you like to spend time doing outside of work: Baking, Live music and Theatre, slowly getting back into this now after the lockdown.
Favourite Singer/Band: A massive Michael Buble fan, known to travel the UK ‘stalking’ him as everyone puts it. But I am a diehard Westlife fan through and through, right from the age of 13, 23 years later getting to see them perform in August at Wembley Stadium in front of 90000 people was something special.
Favourite Food: Nachos
Favourite Animal: Elephants
Favourite Hobby: Home Baking – I make one hell of a Brownie and Cheesecake.
Favourite Film/TV Show: All of the Harry Potter films / Friends is my all-time favourite but Greys Anatomy and This is US are the ones that have taken over my life in the last 12 months.
What do you like most about working for Pure Staff: I love working with the people, we work hard get results but have fun in the process.
What’s your biggest challenge in recruitment right now: Keeping up with the change in pace as the industry gets busier.
