PURE STAFF is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver in the Birmingham area to join a well-established company specialising in the delivery of general haulage. This temporary position offers the potential to become ongoing, providing an excellent opportunity to represent a large-scale company delivering goods across the country.
Responsibilities of a Class 1 Driver
- Perform a minimum of 5-7 drops daily.
- Safely offload and secure loads.
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks.
- Ensure compliance with all driving and safety regulations.
- Deliver general haulage to various locations across the country.
- Maintain and secure loads using appropriate strapping and safety measures.
- Display flexibility with start times.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
- Minimum age of 23 due to insurance requirements.
- Familiarity with the geographical area is advantageous.
Working Hours
- Start times: 07:00 AM – 05:00 PM daily.
- Average shift length: 10 hours.
- Consistent work available for the right candidate.
