The Role:
- Promote technical food safety and health and safety throughout the business.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management system.
- Responsible for maintenance of health and safety systems and adherence of sites to required practices and legislation
- Co-ordination of both internal and external audits, establishing corrective action in a timely manner and providing feedback and commentary to management.
- Managing supplier approval and performance
- Managing specifications and monitoring product safety and quality.
- Managing Hygiene Teams
- Ensuring that training is completed for all staff at site in line with food safety and health and safety requirements.
- Monitoring of KPIs and reporting of this information to management on a monthly basis at a minimum.
- Management of the hygiene standards to ensure standards throughout the business are maintained throughout.
Ideal Candidate:
- Food related degree or qualification minimum level 3 Food Safety
- HACCP qualification minimum level 3
- Internal audit qualification
- Experience as an internal auditor
- Experience of BRC and 3rd party audits
- Health and Safety experience
- Computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Able to work calmly and efficiently under strict time constraints
- Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
Working hours Mon-Fri from 7am/3pm.
