Duties:

• Loading company and customer orders into vehicles and preparing orders to be delivered directly to farms
• Operating a forklift truck whilst adhering to all safety standards
• Servicing customers, delivery drivers and company sales representatives providing support and advice where qualified, in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
• Placing all incoming goods in an organised and efficient manner, and identifying stock anomalies and taking appropriate action
• Storing chemicals and hazardous goods in the correct manner

Person Specification:

• Able to carry out a manual handling role, and be able to lift 25kg in a safe manner
• Able to drive a Counterbalance Forklift, with appropriate licence/s
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
• Able to memorise stock locations
• Professional towards supporting customers needs
• Able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment
• It is preferred that the candidate has an in-date counterbalance forklift licence and experience, however training can be provided for the right candidate

Monday-Friday (8.30am-5.00pm) plus Saturday (8.30am-5.00pm) on a rota basis
