When you are job hunting, it’s important to make a good impression on potential End Hirers. This is especially true when working with recruitment agencies / Employment Businesses, who can help connect you with some of the best jobs out there. But, how should you present your CV?

Here are a few tips:

  1. Keep it professional. Your CV should be free of any typos or grammatical errors. It should also be clear and concise, highlighting your most relevant qualifications and experience.
  2. Tailor it to the specific job. If you’re applying to multiple agencies, take the time to tailor your CV to each one. This means specifying why your skills and experience make you a good fit for that particular job.
  3. Highlight your achievements. Be sure to highlight any awards, publications, or other achievements you’ve earned. This will show that you’re not only qualified for the job, but also that you’re a high achiever.
  4. Use keywords. Many agencies use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to screen CVs. By using relevant keywords, you can ensure that your CV makes it through the ATS and into the hands of a real person.
  5. Don’t forget the basics. In addition to tailoring your CV and using keywords, don’t forget the basics of good CV writing. This includes ensuring that your contact information is up-to-date and including a professional photo of yourself.
